bulls eye

I've been doing some illustrations recently that i plan to print onto a few of my t-shirt designs. I drew this cow skull last night and a few weeks ago i did an eagle skull. I love playing around on photoshop with different pattern and colour combinations, I'd love to have some of these patterns printed onto rolls of fabric.

I'm having heaps of fun doing these and learning a few more photoshop techniques along the way.

Aleta The Mermaid

Aleta is a mermaid, she lives under the sea in a perpetual Summer, has golden locks, a sparkle in her eye and no respect for land lubbers. If she were to dwell upon the land, i'm sure she would wear a dress like this.

I haven't dyed anything in yonks and the rain didn't help my experimenting. I got myself some beautiful soft rayon, which is perfect for a number of my designs, it takes on dye really well too which is a bonus as i can just buy white.

This was a bit of an experiment and i wasn't sure what the end result was going to look like. First i dyed it yellow, then i thought it needed some pink (pink is very good for most things in my opinion. The vintage turquoise lace completes the dress and nicely matches my nails!

I really like it, so i'll most likely make a few more the same.
